A Duet for Bicycle

Robert Grober’s Sonic Golf translates the swing tempo of a golf club into rich sound. With the sonification, a golf player can improve the technique faster.

Can similar idea be used in multi-person task? Owing to computer music technology, the input interface of a piece of instrument can now be separated from the sound generator, which theoretically allows any form of input device. In the “Duet for Bicycles”, riders are turned into musical instrument players and try to harmonize.
